Bride questions : How do I make sure I look good in my wedding photos !

Relax. Trust your wedding photographer. If you're relaxed, it'll come through in your photos. The most and the best advice We can give you is too trust your photographer, get to know him, get to know everything about him because you will be visiting him and spending time with him until your wedding day.
Always leave a 30min to 45min cushion  so you don't feel rushed throughout the day. Prepare 30 min for the family photos, 30 min with the bridal party , and 1 hour with the bride and groom portraits.
Also, get plenty of sleep and drink lots of water the night before.

Why Is a wedding photographer So Freaking Expensive ? Do they Deserve to get paid this much ?

Why Is a wedding photographer So Freaking Expensive ? Do they Deserve to get paid this much ?

This is a question that brides always think about or I always receive it in an email or in person . Wedding photography seems like easy money . Well for one day they seem to to be making 5-10 thousand dollars. Sometimes we need to take a step back and really understand what is happening behind the scenes.  But most full-time wedding photographers I know carry over $20,000 worth of wedding gear and often work work a 60 hour week. Well if we brake it down further, if they are working a 3 day weekend with a 12 hour day , they are pretty much on their feet for about 36 hours . Not to mention the amount of weeks it will take for you to edit the photos. Add insurance, taxes, software, advertising, albums, repair, shipping, and studio expenses, and many photographers end up making less than minimum wage for the first few years of their career.
